The point is to emancipate oneself from limited concepts and to be free from habitual tendencies. The “style” of each project grows as the fruition of a inner investigation focused on the qualities the artist wishes to invoke and to embody.

its context is the professional dancers quest for the authentic through discovering the interdependence of life experience and art. The result is an artist who derives happiness from being able to simply share her/his experience with the world.

The way of Duende Dance is to accept the challenge of understanding that is inherent in each step rather than striving for some preconceived goal.

Since Duende Dance isn’t limited to a style of dance, we can use any style or technique depending on the theme we are exploring, as long as the approach is surrendering ignorance and harm.
